Lately I am in a phase of using green tea (organic and properly steeped) and ice then adding it to smoothies since the weather is nice and hot.
Two cups of Green tea
Ice
1/2 avacado
Coconut water or alkaline water
Lime juice
Get crazy and add in ome spinach for a little extra chlorophyll ;) if you haven't had enough yet
Mint from the garden -for a more refreshing drink
Then.....
depending on how you feel and what kind of mood you're in add in....eithera
*banana ( omit he mint if you use a banana sometimes the two taste funky together)
*white peach
*blueberries ( if you choose this one add a dash of cardamom and maybe some lavender)
*Mango
*Raspberries

Gogi Green Tea Lemonade
So, last week I had my first cup of iced green tea. Yeah, I was bouncing off the walls and couldn't stop working out it was great! I loved it! Although it was nice to have all that energy, my body didn't really produce it itself, one of the many reasons I (try) stay away from caffeine. There is a way to brew the green tea so you are able to get all the beautiful benefits of the tea itself and significantly decrease the caffeine from it and any other possible toxins. Bring the water to a simmer* not a boil, then steep for only three minuets. simple!
I just woke up from a midday nap, it was hot and needed something refreshing
Two cups of green tea steeped for 3 min, more if you need more zing
Ice
Handful of frozen Gogi Berries
One lemon with pith
Celtic Salt
Stevia

Usually when create something (uncook) I don't use measurements, I just add some of this and some of that and boom!
